Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern any engagement between Karan Sood, operating as AI Demystified ("AI Demystified", "we", "us") and the client ("you") for AI consulting, implementation, and related services. By booking a discovery call, signing a proposal, or using this website, you agree to these Terms.

1. Services

We provide fixed-scope, fixed-price AI implementation services including but not limited to: sales automation agents, knowledge/RAG systems, inbox and chatbot agents, custom workflow automation, data and reporting agents, voice AI automation, AI strategy audits, and AI enablement training. The exact scope, deliverables, timeline and price for any engagement are defined in a separate written proposal or statement of work, which forms part of these Terms once accepted.

2. Fees & Payment

Fees are as set out in the applicable proposal. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, setup fees are due before work begins, and any recurring/monthly fees are billed in advance. Late payment may result in pausing of active work or support.

3. Project Timeline

Delivery timelines quoted (e.g. "4-week delivery") assume timely client cooperation — including access, content, feedback and approvals. Delays caused by the client may extend the timeline accordingly.

4. Intellectual Property & Ownership

Unless otherwise specified in a proposal, upon full payment the client owns the source code and deliverables built specifically for them. We retain ownership of our own pre-existing tools, frameworks, and general methodologies used to deliver the work, and may reuse non-client-specific components across engagements.

5. Confidentiality

Both parties agree to keep confidential any non-public business, technical or customer information shared during the engagement, and will execute a mutual NDA on request before sensitive information is exchanged.

6. Case Studies & References

We may request permission to reference a completed engagement (e.g. as a case study or testimonial). We will not publish client-specific details, data, or quotes without the client's explicit consent.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising from an engagement is limited to the fees paid for that specific engagement. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

8. Termination

Either party may terminate an ongoing engagement with written notice as specified in the proposal. Fees for work completed up to the termination date remain payable.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
