Refund Policy

This policy covers digital products sold on aidemystified.in, including the ebook 18 AI Businesses You Can Actually Build. It is operated by Karan Sood, trading as AI Demystified ("we", "us").
In short: our books are instant digital downloads, so we don't offer refunds for a change of mind once the file has been delivered. If anything goes wrong with your purchase or your file, we'll fix it or refund you in full. And if the book didn't help, we'll give you a free 20-minute call to talk through your ideas.
1. Why change-of-mind refunds aren't offered
Unlike a physical product, a digital book can't be returned: once it's downloaded, you keep it. For that reason, all sales are final once your download link has been delivered, except in the situations listed below. At checkout, you agree that delivery starts immediately and that your right to cancel ends once the download begins, as set out in the Dodo Payments buyer terms. We describe exactly what's in the book on the product page so you can decide before you buy.
2. When you'll always get a full refund
Email us within 14 days of purchase and we'll refund you in full if:
- Your book never arrived and we can't resolve it by re-sending the link.
- The file is broken or won't open, and a replacement doesn't fix it.
- You were charged twice, charged the wrong amount, or bought the same product more than once by mistake.
- The product is materially different from what the product page described.
3. If the book didn't help you
If you've read the book and it wasn't useful for your situation, email us within 30 days of purchase. We'll offer you a free 20-minute call to look at your goals and point you toward ideas that fit, one call per purchase. This replaces a refund; it doesn't add to it.
4. How to reach us
Email karan@aidemystified.in from the address you used at checkout, with a short description of the problem and your payment reference if you have it (it's in your purchase confirmation email). We reply within two business days.
5. How refunds are processed
Payments on this site are processed by Dodo Payments, which acts as the merchant of record for your purchase. We review your request and pass eligible refunds to Dodo Payments, which makes the final decision as the seller of record and may decline requests that show signs of fraud or refund abuse. Approved refunds go back to your original payment method, usually within 5–10 business days depending on your bank. Any tax charged at checkout is refunded along with the price.
6. Please contact us before your bank
If something is wrong, write to us first. Most problems are fixed within a day, and a bank dispute takes weeks for everyone. The Dodo Payments buyer terms you agree to at checkout also require you to contact Dodo Payments before raising a chargeback with your bank.
7. Your legal rights
Nothing in this policy limits any rights you have under the consumer protection laws of the country where you live. Where those laws give you a right to cancel, Dodo Payments, as the seller of record, handles that according to the law that applies to you.
8. Subscriptions and cancellations
Our digital products are one-time purchases, not subscriptions. There is nothing to cancel, and you will never be charged again.
9. Consulting and build services
This policy does not cover consulting, implementation or build engagements. Those are governed by the payment and termination terms in your written proposal and our Terms of Service.
